Description
I wish I knew more about this item because it's pretty and pleasing. I found several bird feathers in it: I pulled three out and realized there were more so I put them back in. I did read that they can have meaning to some, feathers in a vase, so I'll leave it up to the new owner if they want them removed or not. It has a raised signature on the base but I do not know fully what it says - I've used Google Lens/Translate and it partially reads: "Unearthed from Mt". I assume the MT is for Mount something, but my mark is not perfectly clear so it doesn't read the entire thing. I believe it's Chinese and vintage I believe because of the overall crazing about 5.25" tall and 5" in diameter - a pleasant round vase the opening is about 6/8" wide no chips or cracks I really don't like knowing everything about what I'm selling but of course you can't know everything :) there may have been felt feet on it at some point because of the marks on the base, they may clean off it may have been used as a flower vase but I haven't cleaned this inside due to the feathers - it doesn't look used from what i can see It is glazed inside, whitish with some brown spots. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Thank you very much for looking and have a great day!
