This is a set of 2 small porcelain serving platters by Thomas Ivory in Bavaria Germany. They have a beautiful floral pattern on a creamy colored background. The platters have tab handles and a lightly textured edge with 2 stripes around the edge. The pattern number 07131 is rare. I found a similar pattern elsewhere, but could not find this exact pattern. The center flowers are the same on both platters, but the small flowers away from the center are different on each platter so that they are not identical, which only adds to the charm of these rare vintage pieces. Pottery with the Thomas Ivory back stamp were produced between 1929-1952. The exact date is unknown. Each platter is approximately11-1/4" long x 7-1/4" wide x 1-1/4" high at the handles. Good Condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing. There are a few minor surface scratches that are not noticeable without holding a platter at an angle where the light will reflect off of them to be able to see them. There are a few minor scratches in the painted flowers in the center that I cannot see without looking very closely for them. I have pointed to some of these on both platters. Shipping may be a bit high, depending how far it needs to ship, because the 2 platters weigh over 3 pounds with a box and packing material.
