Description

This film has a vinegar odor. It is not curling at the edges, but film has indentations every so often. It ran through my film scanner with no issue, but should be properly preserved. A couple visits the Santa Anita horse track on February 24, 1940. Great footage of the horse track and some races, including Seabiscuit and his last race. There's a close up of him in the Paddock prior to the race, and footage of the race itself, including the finish. See black and white still from a news reel of the race for comparison (last two photos). Note the box and reel do not appear to be original to the film itself. I've got more vintage film at my store and happy to bundle shipping. I also sell fresh film cement.
